Welcome!
Hi, I’m Kristy, lover of God, family, friends, good books, and yummy food. I’m also on a quest to get in the best shape of my life. As a clean and wholesome/Christian romance author, I spend much of my days sitting at a desk. And we all know that a sedentary lifestyle isn’t conducive to good health. So it’s time to change all that. To start counteracting the side effects of too little activity, hypothyroidism, and gluten intolerance. Yeah, It’s time to get busy because I plan on living to be a happy, healthy, and energetic centenarian. I also plan on writing a lot more books! 🙂

If Wishes Were Horses…

Change My Mindset, Change My Life

Plotting Problem Solved - and “Yacht Rock”
I have been so stuck on a problem with the first book in my new series that, no matter how hard I’ve tried to fix it and keep moving forward, it hasn’t worked. Until a week ago. What happened then? Well, … Continue reading
Missed 9th Anniversary - and a Quick Update
I’ve missed my blogging anniversary more than once. Maybe even several times, but usually not by more than a day or few. This time, it was by almost a month! Of course, we all know I had other things on … Continue reading
Just Bought a Suitcase
My fifteen day hospital stay in February was both unplanned and unexpected, meaning I was totally unprepared for it. Last month’s surgery - which went well (sorry, I forgot to post an update) was outpatient and I was home by … Continue reading
Hello, Summer!
It’s been a fairly chilly spring in my neck of the woods and, if you know me at all, you know I’ve been loving it. It’s warming up in a hurry though and tomorrow, the a/c’s will be getting their … Continue reading
Yikes! My Summer is Starting with a Bang!
I’ll be going in for more surgery this week. And then again in five weeks or so. Me, who hadn’t even seen a doctor in almost six years before being diagnosed with skin cancer in early February (So I Got a Phone Call … Continue reading
